Meredith from Light the candle photography captured my maternity photos. Before our photoshoot, she made sure to ask me what my vision was for the photos and what style I preferred. I sent her a few ideas and we decided on a venue. The day of the photoshoot, she made my husband and I so comfortable and even made us a laugh for some candid shots! When you feel comfortable with a photographer, the pictures really capture it. She took so many beautiful pictures of us and we received all of them very quickly! We actually need to narrow down a few to hang in our house because we love too many! Thank you Meredith for your amazing work, I will definitely be back for more!
We found Meredith on Facebook and I saw we had mutual friends. This year, I wanted to do an outdoor photo shoot for our family at the park. She accommodated our schedule, met us at Hermann Park which is conveniently close to our home, and was reasonably priced since we like to order Christmas cards to send our friends and family. She even worked around the pets we brought and was very sweet about it. I highly recommend Meredith!
Meredith from Light the Candle photography took holiday photos of me and my family, which was not an easy feat considering how active my boys are. Meredith’s flexibility, creativity, warmth, and professionalism made the photo session fun. The photos came out beautifully, and captured the personality of each member of my family. Meredith is one of our good friends, so it was super fun to see her in her element- she’s a natural! She took the time to prep by researching several poses prior to our shoot. On top of that, she made sure that the light would be just right, and arranged our time frame perfectly. She was beyond patient with our pup, and was able to roll with the punches (she even brought her hubby along to step in as dog handler). Lastly, her turnaround time was CRAZY fast!! She had our pics to us within a week, we would highly highly highly recommend!
I am a person who hates taking pictures and have avoided doing so for a while. However, when I decided to get pictures taken for work, I reached out to Meredith and she exceeded my expectations! Despite my initial awkwardness, Meredith was able to help me feel more comfortable in front of the camera and provided great instructions on how to pose. I was particularly impressed by her determination to get the best shots even if that meant changing locations or the lighting or adding props. My goal for the shoot was to get 1-2 usable pictures. However, thanks to Meredith I now have a number of great shots I can use for different purposes. She will definitely be my go-to photographer moving forward.
